Rafiq Masri

Rafiq Masri, CEO and founder of NetMGM, works to build long term client relationships and feels every customer should be treated with respect and care.  Over the last 25+ years Rafiq has built NetMGM into the go-to company for IT and cybersecurity consulting, IT management, helpdesk and project implementation. NetMGM was started as a local company focused on small and midsize businesses and has expanded nationally with clients in many states around the country.

As CEO Rafiq wears many hats from company management to IT and cybersecurity consulting, customer relations and project implementation among many others.

Rafiq is a big believer in K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) and strives to build IT solutions that are easily understood, solve client problems and are also easy to maintain over the long term.

Rafiq holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has completed graduate programs in software engineering and business at Harvard and George Mason University.

Rafiq is a former founder and CEO of Automation, Inc. in Ann Arbor, Michigan as well as a valued speaker on entrepreneurship and technology at industry events such as ExpoTech and others and is on the advisory board of multiple organizations such as MEET which is focused on advancing technical and entrepreneurship training for the youth in partnership with MIT, Search for Common Ground and Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP).

When not working Rafiq enjoys time with his family, playing his guitar and taking in the beautiful Washington DC Metro Area outdoor – where he can be found hiking the Billy Goat trail, biking on the W&OD and kayaking the Potomac river.
