We’ve put together the following list of shortcuts that you can use to accomplish various Quickbooks tasks.

Forms and Transactions

If you want to make better use of forms and transactions, use these shortcuts:

  • Move between pages within forms and reports – Page Up or Page Down
  • Record transactions – Enter
  • Add or delete transaction lines – Ctrl + Insert/Delete
  • Move between transaction lines – Up and Down arrow keys
  • Copy and paste transaction lines – Copy with Ctrl + Alt + Y, then go to an empty line and press Ctrl + Alt + V
  • Open a dropdown menu and add to form – Ctrl + L while the form is highlighted, then on the appropriate option, Ctrl + U to add it to the form
  • Memorize a form and transactions for later – Ctrl + M
    • Access these memories – Ctrl + T

Navigating Quickbooks

There are also several ways to make navigation easier:

  • Open the Help window – F1
  • Search for specific transactions, invoices, or other information – Ctrl + 1
  • Open the Search window – Ctrl + 2
